A reminder that our annual member meeting is being held on Thursday, March 23rd at 6pm in the lobby of Willow Run (or outside if the weather allows & we need more room).  Members will be voting on the following items:

Electing Directors to the Board to serve 2 year terms starting on July 1, 2023.
Devin Fredrickson, Mark Jane, Karthik Giddu, Domonique Gleason and Marya McCarroll

Discussing & voting on the following proposal from Beth Kuzma:

I make a proposal to update the Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club Organization’s Bylaws to include discounts for individuals serving on the Board. Board members of theYpsilanti Otters Swim Club Organization will be eligible for the below outlined discount based on their role on the Board of Directors. These discounts will be offered for each swim season registration.
Executive Board Members Including President, Secretary, and Treasurer will be eligible for Family Discount(s): 100% discount on registration for 1st child, 50% off registration for 2nd child, and 25% off any other children registered.
Other Board Members not on the Executive Board: Including (but not limited to) Communications Chair, Registration Chair, Meet Manager, Technology Chair, Social Media Chair, Safe Swim Coordinator, USA Chair will be eligible for Family Discount(s): 50% registration for 1st child and 25% off any other children registered. 

If you are unable to attend, and would like to offer your votes via proxy, please reach out to Todd Stefanik (he is often in the stands during Yellow/Blue practice, he is quite tall & has a beard). He will be attending and has offered to serve as a proxy for any families needing one. His email is teklstefanark@gmail.com if you will not be at practice and wish to send him your proxy via email.  You must complete the attached form for your proxy to have at the meeting, and you can write on the form to indicate your votes on these two measures - or tell them to your proxy, whichever you are most comfortable with.

The member meeting will be followed by a board meeting, which members are welcome to attend. We will be appointing the Directors into Board positions, and completing any other board business.
