Illness - reminders - stay home!

We've been seeing an increasing number of kids at the pool, who maybe shouldn't be there due to illness/coughing.  Here are our expectations:

  • if your child is coughing frequently or their nose is dripping/congested, it is not appropriate to bring them to lessons.
  • if your child did not attend school during the day due to suspected illness, it is not appropriate to bring them to lessons.
  • if a virus/illness is going around your house, please keep your swimmer at home even if they are not sick yet.

Our Jr Otter & Pup coaches work in close contact with the swimmers. And if one of them get sick, it is likely that lessons will need to be cancelled for everyone. So help keep everyone healthy this fall and stay home if your family is ill.

This also goes for the competitive swimmers - your child could get another swimmer or coach sick.  All of our coaches have other jobs, we need to reduce their risk for exposure by keeping sick kids - and siblings of sick kids - home.

Also- DO NOT park to the right of the entrance in the gravel lot.  There are athletic events happening at the middle school. And on those nights their coaches are parking there. We need those additional spots for our coaches.
